Michele Pearce

Michele Pearce is Vice President of Development for Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Atlanta. She manages the agency's fundraising programs, develops partnerships with foundations, corporations and government entities, plans and implements special events and maintains relationships with donors.
Prior to joining CCCS Atlanta in January 2007, she served as director of development and co-producing artistic director for Synchronicity Performance Group, an Atlanta-based theater company. She has also worked as the director of development for two Atlanta area social service organizations, Moving in the Spirit and Cool Girls, and as senior development associate for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta.
Pearce holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive designation awarded by CFRE International. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), where she serves as a member of the Publications Advisory Committee for AFP International. She has served as a grants panelist for the Georgia Council for the Arts, Fulton County Arts Council, Theatre Communications Group and the City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs. She is a board member for FOCUS (Families of Children Under Stress), which supports children with special needs and their families, and an Advisory Council member for Synchronicity Performance Group.
Pearce is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
