Community Outreach & Workplace Education
Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) is a leading local provider of financial education services to consumers facing financial challenges or crises. Through our community outreach and education program, we introduce families to a wide variety of basic money management skills. Provided in both English and Spanish, our seminars help consumers address immediate financial needs and build long-term financial planning skills. We teach budgeting, the wise use of credit, balancing a checkbook, how to handle debts, understanding credit reports and scores, surviving identity theft, plus so much more. By helping families improve their financial literacy skills and develop financial goals, we strengthen our community by promoting economic opportunity.
