Affiliations & Partners::

Accreditation by BBB. The BBB has determined that the business meets accreditation standards which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. Accreditation by COA. CCCS is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) of Children and Family Services, a nationally-recognized accrediting body for a wide variety of human services organizations. The council's process is centered around an independent third-party review of agency policies, procedures and operations. NFCC Membership. CCCS has a voluntarily affiliation with the NFCC. As a condition of membership, the agency is required to meet standards that include COA accreditation, certification of counselors, annual audits of operating and trust accounts and boards that are representative of the communities the agency serves. The president and board chair are required to sign an annual statement of compliance that the agency is meeting all required standards. HUD Certified for Housing. CCCS is the largest U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-certified agency in the state of Georgia. Every two years, representatives of HUD visit the agency's offices to conduct a comprehensive review of program and case files. The agency consistently meets HUD requirements and has passed all HUD audits. In 2009, CCCS was named as a national intermediary by HUD. Counseling Partner of Homeownership Preservation Foundation. A HUD-approved housing counseling agency helping families understand the home purchasing process, how to get budgeting and credit problems fixed, and how to avoid predatory lending practices. Member of National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association. NRMLA Members are an elite group of individuals who are dedicated to helping America's seniors fulfill their retirement dreams. United Way Community Partner. United Way partners with organizations that share our view that the way to improve lives is by mobilizing the caring power of communities.
